Well no journey would begin without travel, nor end without travel from our destination.  On this trip, we traveled via Delta Airlines and had the privilege [is privilege the right word?]  of visiting 5 separate airports, including extended visits to DC and Atlanta.  But the delays weren’t all bad – they allowed us to get some great aviation photos and make some new friends.  Enjoy!

Freebie! Nova Scotia Autumn Adventure Wallpaper (Part 2)

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful autumn wonderland that is Nova Scotia.  Here is part two of our photo collection.  The above photo is of Hall’s Harbour, a tiny little inlet located on the Bay of Fundy.  The tides in this area are so large that the water level rises and falls 50 feet with every tide.  It’s really a pretty cool spot.

The fall colors truly couldn’t have been better.  When we arrived, the colors had just begun to pop, and by our third day there, it was absolutely stunning.  The weather was pleasant though a bit brisk (in the 60s), but in the sun it was quite comfortable.  And with all the photos on our blog, you are welcome to use them as desktop wallpaper – they are in widescreen format.  Enjoy the photos!

Freebie! Nova Scotia Autumn Adventure Wallpaper (Part 1)

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful autumn wonderland that is Nova Scotia.  We spent three days exploring the southern half of the province – taking photos everywhere we went.  It had been ten years since our last visit, but not much had changed – one of the reasons we like this area so much.  From a sunrise shoot at Peggy’s Cove, to sunset at Hall’s Harbour, we  had a wonderful time capturing the beauty and diversity of Nova Scotia.  Enjoy the photos!

Our home base for this journey was the wonderful Bayview Pines Country Inn B&B.  If you’re ever in Mahone Bay, I would strongly suggest checking them out.  Not only do you get a comfortable room with a view, but a truly wonderful breakfast, complete with homemade preserves.  It’s truly a treat!

Kate & JP’s Picturesque Nocatee Wedding

This past weekend, we had the privileged of shooting Kate and JP’s wedding down in Nocatee.  Though the temperatures weren’t all that cool, the fall theme brought a reminder of the coolness of Autumn. Is it too cliche to say love was in the air? BTW – check out the detail photo of Kate’s bouquet – the flowers were amazing!  To Top it off, DJ Steadman did another wonderful job providing the entertainment for the evening.  We hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Contest & Freebies! – Fall Photo Contest

Who doesn’t love a good contest and a couple of freebies?  After so many months of hot and humid weather, hints of autumn are finally in the air.  To celebrate, we’re hosting a fall photo contest.  The winner will receive their choice of a one hour engagement, senior or family portrait session, or if you would prefer, two 10×30 signed fine art panoramas.  To enter, all you need to do is pick your favorite autumn-themed photo, uploaded to one (or both) of our Facebook pages and get get as many friends as you can to vote for your photo.  The person who’s photo has the most combined votes from the two pages wins.  Good luck!
