Partner Spotlight: Southeastern Grocers (SEG)

Part 1 in our blog series honoring the unique, inspiring and often incredible work of our clients.

What’s a photographer to do when shoots are few and far between, with the whole world pushing one of the biggest pause buttons in history? In an effort to come alongside our wonderful clients, many of whom are in the same boat as we are, we’re kicking off this series to share some of our favorite memories and the often extraordinary work of our clients. So, who should we spotlight first? We’ve worked with so many great companies, but Southeastern Grocers (SEG) seems the perfect pick, given their work on the front lines of this pandemic – normal men and women elevated by this crisis to the rightful place of brave heroes.

February 2020 Jacksonville Cars and Coffee at the Avenues Mall - Red C2 Corvette

Our Mega Gallery from Jacksonville Car Culture’s February Cars and Coffee at the Avenues Mall

With beautiful weather and an exuberant crowd of motorheads, the February Jacksonville Cars and Coffee was another stellar success. At this point, its really hard to get a solid number of how many cars showed up to the region’s largest monthly meet-up, but safe to say it couldn’t have been too far from 1,000 cars which made the petrol-pilgrimage to the Avenues Mall during the event. In fact, exotic row was so full this month that many of our supercar friends had to find parking spaces out among the crowd – providing some extra ground-hugging surprises down nearly every row. Jekyll Island Glory: Fire in the Sky

A Spectacular “Fire in the Sky” Bookend Set of Dusk and Dawn Displays with a Side of Driftwood Astrophotography

Jekyll Island Fire in the Sky - Sunrise over calm waters

Late last week, we had the pleasure of spending a night along Georgia’s beautiful Golden Isles before photographing the Days Inn Jekyll Island to help them highlight their newly remodeled rooms. The evening happened to coincide with the Alpha Monocerotids meteor shower which promised to deliver up to 400 shooting starts per hour as the earth briefly passed through the debris field of this ancient comet. Add to that an absolutely stunning sunset and sunrise, and the night’s session certainly warranted our “Fire in the Sky” moniker. Here’s just a sampling of the over 100 fine art images we captured – but please feel free to visit our full collection from Jekyll Island here.
