The big day has finally arrived! The 20th Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is officially in the books – and what a wonderful event it was! With over 300 vehicles in this year’s show, the sheer number of unique and notable world-class vehicles is a sight to be seen. This year the folks at the Concours offered up a wide range of classes for every taste, from the Cars of the Cowboys (below) to a special class of 26 cars Stirling Moss raced throughout his amazing career. Whether you love the raw sound of vintage racers or the sublime custom coachwork of early century luxury cars, the Amelia Concours has it all. The afternoon wrapped up with over 100 awards, capped by the best of show awards (above), with Best of show Concours d’Elegance going to the 1930 Cord L29 Brooks Stevens Speedster, owned by Ed Schoenthaler – and Best of Show Concours de Sport going to the 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato Spider owned by David Sydorick.

Celebrating a Luminous Year with Brightway Insurance

We recently has the pleasure of spending an evening at the Omni in downtown Jacksonville with our friends from Brightway Insurance as they celebrated the 2013 achievements of their agents. This was our second shoot with Brightway, so having the privilege to see many of the folks we met back in 2013 receive recognition for their work was a treat. Congratulations to all the award recipients and here’s to a splendid 2014!

Celebrating the Heavy Haulers with Western Star

After a week of catching up on wedding photography, it’s now time to spend the same effort on our commercial, architectural and fine art photography. And so… Once upon a time… the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island was the host to a great group from Western Star. The company manufacturers and sells a variety of big rigs that are known for their toughness and durability. While in Amelia, the group celebrated the accomplishments of their top dealers while enjoying the amenities and attractions of award-winning island.

Hills is Playing to Win in Ponte Vedra

This past week, we had the opportunity to shoot this wonderful event at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach. Our client was Hills brands – you may know them if your pets eats Science Diet, or one of their many other specialty pet foods. This event was quite the gala, with Red Carpet photos, great musicians, and an the amazing speed painter Tim Decker (above).

Another treat for the guests was a slideshow put together from the photos we had captured just minutes before. We achieved this feat with a bit of creativity, some great technology, and awesome help from the event staff from INNOVA. Below are some of our favorite shots from the evening – enjoy!

Festive Memories with FAFP at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island!

Again this year we had the opportunity to spend the day with our friends at the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) annual Winter Summit and Gala at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. As with last year, the day was filled with great speakers, helpful resources and a program specifically for medical students. The evening turned festive as the group celebrated their inauguration of the 2013 board and dined and danced the night away to the sounds of a great band.
