This past weekend, we had the honor of photographing a wonderfully decedent Great Gatsby party at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The event, hosted by Emerson, was a true success! From the period 1927 Rolls Royce Springfield Phantom (which also made an appearance in the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance – see our coverage here), to all the wonderful Great Gatsby-themed props and decorations – one could have easily felt as though they were back in the roaring 20’s. The evening was capped with a spirited and entertaining talk by author and humorist Dave Barry (below). At the after party, guests had the opportunity to chat with Dave as he signed his latest work, Insane City. And if candy cigarettes weren’t your thing, there was also a cigar craftsman making cigars for the guests. Be sure to check out all the lavish details in the gallery below.
