Over the Thanksgiving weekend, we had the pleasure of shooting this wonderful wedding up in Fernandina. In classic form, Rick and Elizabeth arrived by carriage at the front of Florida House Inn, where both the wedding and reception were held. The hotel (the oldest continuously operating hotel in Florida) was decked out for the holidays – a perfect compliment to the couple’s theme!
The Florida House is known for their wonderful family-style meals. I thought this was a great way to serve a meal at the reception – it made everything feel so comfortable and welcoming. Interesting fact – when Bryn and I were dating, some 12 years ago, our first out-of-Jacksonville date was to Florida House. And, as a note, the food was as good as I remembered!
But I digress. Check out some of our favorite photos from this wonderful wedding. Congratulations Elizabeth and Rick!
