Exploring the Winding Shores and Skies of Central Georgia’s Lake Oconee
One of the many perks of being a commercial photographer is the opportunity to experience and explore some of the most beautiful parts of the world as you travel in the service of your clients. One such happy surprise was a recent trip to Lake Oconee, in central Georgia – a location that I didn’t even know existed just a few months ago. As providence would have it, we were treated to a stunning, gold-infused sunrise accented by wisps of fog still lingering from the cool pre-dawn twilight.
As families and friends come together to enjoy a long weekend on the eve of summer, we stop to remember those who have died defending the cause of freedom near and far. In total, over 1,354,000 soldiers have fallen in service of this worthy cause. And today, as we enjoy the comforts these men and women have purchased with their lives, we pause to honor them and pray for those whom they left behind.
A Walk Down Summer’s Memory Lane – Sail Portsmouth 2019

Today, we’ll be looking back at last year’s Sail Portsmouth tall ships festival as we look forward to this summer’s event, featuring the CGC Eagle – a ship I haven’t seen in New Hampshire since I was a young child.

Below is our highlight video from the event, as well as some of our favorite specimens and a link to the full Jacksonville Cars and Coffee Gallery, featuring over 250 images.
Let’s face the facts – without moms, life as we know it would grind to a stop. Beyond their mere biological necessity, moms provide invaluable and often underappreciated love and care that we celebrate on this day. So, as a very small token of our appreciation, we’ve created a veritable bouquet of flowers for you this week – in the form of desktop wallpaper. Here’s just a few samples – but the whole gallery is here, on our site. We love you moms!
